Shaft Selection:
Too much or too little flex will cause you to lose distance and spray your shots to the right or left of the target line.
If you carry your driver...
250 yards or more, select a Stiff Flex.
230-250 yards, then you can choose either a Regular or Stiff Flex*. *If you have a very smooth swing, you might benefit from a Regular Flex, even if your swing is very fast. For a swing that is jerky at the top - when transitioning into the downswing – a Stiff Flex is the right choice.
200-230 yards, then a Regular Flex is best.
Less than 200–210 yards, then a Senior or Lady Flex would be an excellent choice.
Loft Selection: If you hit the ball too high, it will use up its energy as it rises, preventing it from carrying farther and providing it with very little forward roll. A ball hit too low loses distance because it lands on the ground before using up its energy. For most golfers a medium-high trajectory will produce maximum distance for both carry and roll. If your current driver produces a medium-high trajectory, you should order a similar loft in our drivers.
9° Loft: For golfers who hit long, high shots, with faster swing speeds. A 9° loft will help a golfer’s drives carry longer and bore into the wind.
10.5° Loft: Offers the majority of golfers, especially those with slower swing speeds, the best combination of height and distance.
12° Loft: Helps golfers with slower swing speeds get the ball airborne for longer carry. |
